Kai Xu, a known Canadian reptile smuggler, who was caught at the border with 51 live turtles stuffed down his sweatpants, beat the supermarket worker who hid $1,200 worth of meat down his pants.
This week, we saw acts of bad parenting like the woman who sent her child to day care with bags of heroin, and off-beat stories like the woman who married herself.
But two other stories really stood out and had us scratching our heads. Two men recently had very bizarre ideas for how to pay for an iPhone 6.

The man who doesn't understand the concept of a fair trade
One man is reportedly so desperate to sell his house that he'll trade it for an iPhone 6.
The Detroit home, which is currently listed for just $3,000 on Zillow, is around 2,400 square feet in size. It has three bedrooms, one and a half bathrooms, and a finished basement.
Larry Else told WJBK: "My client, he's from overseas, and he told me he would be willing to trade the property for an iPhone 6. ... It sounds to me like he wants the premium version, but I think he's willing to negotiate."
But Else's client might actually be getting the sweeter deal ... Whoever purchases the run-down home will have to do a ton of work and pay $6,000 in back taxes.
The man who might be getting dumped soon
To be fair, this news broke two weeks ago, but it makes for a nice comparison.
A Chinese man has offered to 'rent' his girlfriend out to other men so that he can raise money to buy the latest iPhone, according to the Daily Mail.
Apparently, Wei Chu, 25, stood outside Songjiang University in Shanghai holding a "Girlfriend Sharing" poster and invited passers-by to check out images of his 21-year-old gilrfriend, Xiao Ai, who he claims is a willing participant of the scheme.
Those interested can "rent" Xiao Ai at an hourly rate to get dinner or study -- but "no funny business" allowed.
