Surprisingly Freezable Foods
To freeze everyday foods like fresh herbs, all you have to do is put them in the freezer, side by side on a baking sheet. After they're frozen, move them to a Ziploc bag and you'll have fresh herbs for months.
If you're going away on vacation but hesitate to dump that gallon of milk you just bought, don't do it. Simply, pour a little out to leave room for expansion and pop it in the freezer.
Once you're back, just stick it in the fridge for a day or two to thaw and shake before pouring. Try to freeze it at its freshest, and don't keep it for longer than four to six weeks.
So, think twice before you throw food away and save yourself some cash. You can freeze almost anything, if you know how to do it properly.
