LeBron James returned to Cleveland this summer, and already his son is being recruited in house by the state's most popular university.

The Cleveland Cavaliers haven't even played an official game with LeBron James yet, and already the sports world is preparing for his offspring to take his place at the NBA throne.

LeBron James Jr. is a 9-year old kid, but he's already getting recruiting attention.

According to Buckeyes beat writer Eric Seger, the Buckeyes have come out and said they're already thinking about recruiting LeBron James Jr. - and they're serious. We've seen this in college sports before and it usually doesn't work out. But LeBron James Jr. is going to be a name that everyone pays attention to in the coming years as he's the son of the most famous basketball player on the planet.

As we've seen with children of famous athletes, the bloodline doesn't always mean duplicate success. Walter Payton Jr. has a decent career at Miami but never started an NFL game despite being the son of a legend. In that same vein though, the offspring of Barry Sanders, John Stockton are all highly touted and looking a career in the pros - so who knows what LeBron Jr. will become.
