Last Saturday, Wisconsin police officers rescued a baby deer, referred to as Bambi, who somehow managed to get tangled up in a soccer net at a local park.

Town of Menasha officers John Swenson and Mike Weinburger worked through rain and lightning to try and get the fawn free, and eventually their efforts paid off. However, the cops didn't stop there, they both stuck around to fix the broken soccer net.

Now, a kind action like this isn't the type of thing that deserves a medal of honor, but it did earn the heroes a nickname within their department. They're being called the "deer whisperers."
