NYC storefront could open 'first bar for pregnant women'

EAST VILLAGE, Manhattan (PIX11) -- An East Village venue is saying it will open the first bar designated for pregnant women.

Gestations Bar on Fifth Street and Avenue A claims that it will cater to expecting women without judgement.

It may be a senseless ploy, but it is getting a lot of buzz.

However, according to NY Post, the business hasn't applied for a liquor license yet.

"#gestationsny will have free pregnancy test kits when you buy a pitcher. Check out our profile on #BARTRENDr to see what else we'll carry," the business posted on their Facebook page.
