Man attacked by papa swan while trying to save baby

Simon, a fearless rescuer from Wildlife Aid in Britain, is known for both the gentle help he gives animals ... and the lack of gratitude he receives in return.

In the case of a cygnet (a baby swan) stuck in a fence, it's not the stuck animal taking pieces off Simon, but the creature's worried dad.

Simon first shoos the protective papa away. As he starts to gently ease the little swan out of the fence, the angry dad repeatedly swats at Simon, even after Simon frees the little guy and reunites him with his whole family.

The rescue ends as most of Simon's happy rescues do: with happy (albeit sort of ungrateful) animals ... and Simon in need of some band-aids.
