World Record Breaker Jennifer Lawrence Added to Guinness Book

Jennifer Lawrence has broken the world record for highest-grossing female action movie heroine ever.

Playing the District 12 tribute and heroine, Katniss Everdeen not only launched her career to new heights, but has also nabbed a place in the 2015 edition of the Guinness World Records book.

This extra surprising because the Hunger Games franchise is only halfway through. In the first two movies alone, the character grossed an incredible $832 million on the international market, and Catching Fire itself was the highest grossing post-apocalyptic film ever. But there's still two movies to come.

Others joining Lawrence in the record book include Miley Cyrus, as the most-searched for pop star on the Internet, Shakira, as the most liked person on Facebook, and Beyonce, for the fastest-selling iTunes album ever.

But the most interesting is a relatively new category, with Game of Thrones owning the title of the most pirated TV program with an average of 5.9 million downloads per episode.
