5 fall fashion trends to keep in mind when shopping this weekend

Fall fashion was decidedly Western-leaning at the New York shows, judging by the amount of fringe we saw swinging down the runways. Come autumn, we predict fringe skirts, bags, and sweaters will be on everyone's must-have lists -- including ours.

Muted pastels like pink and blue, and soft gray tones were everywhere this week. We especially like the contrast of a light, airy color on a heavy winter piece, like a sweater or outerwear.

If there's one outerwear trend we'll be investing in come fall, you can bet it'll be shearling.
