Vehicle Misses Pedestrians by Inches After Crash

Greater Manchester Police have released CCTV footage after a car crashed into Hopwood Hall College in Manchester, England on August 9th, 2014, badly injuring the driver and narrowly missing two pedestrians.

The car crossed the central reservation and collided with the railings, before ploughing into the college, causing extensive damage to the building.

"Vehicle misses pedestrians by inches."

Yes, if by inches you mean 240 inches (20 feet).

Wow! At least ONE of the pedestrians SAW the car coming. They are lucky.

I was nearly killed while taking a whiz in the head out at Camp Wilson in 29 Palms. a driverless 5-ton rolled down the hill from the chowhall and plowed into the building right behind me and 3 feet to the right of me. Luckily there was a big I beam right there. Otherwise i might have been killed standing there with my crank in my hand !

Wait a minute. Inches? How about yards? The car was nowhere near them, probably 20-30 yards away. God what sensationalist tabloid titling.
