"Old School"? Perhaps you should visit Americas Softball fields and I guarantee you will see plays like that all the time, if not every time you visit.

"... you wil see plays like that all the time, if not every time you visit." Old school, no. Pre-school maybe.

Jack Calhoun is a very underrated player, he sets the table for the Angels....sad he doesn't get the recognition he's due

That picture brings back memories of playing for the state title back in the 70s. It was the bottom of the 9th, we were ahead by a run but the other team had loaded the bases with 2 outs. Their cleanup hitter hit a towering shot to center field. I was playing 2nd base and turned around and saw our center fielder had fallen and twisted his ankle. I sprinted as fast as I could out to center field ,climbed the wall and dived with full extension. I caught the ball in the stands 10 rows deep, but in doing so ruptured my obliques...I never played again.

I was watching that game. He could have caught that ball on the run. You want old school? DiMaggio would have caught that ball without any problem or need to dive at all.

Shark week. Shark meat is $8.99 a pound. A 150 pound shark is worth around a $1,000.00 fully dressed.
Fried with hushpuppies is good.

Wow! Kole Calhoun gets paid hundreds of thousands $$$ a year to play a GAME and he got grass stains on his uniform? Oh no! Will he ever recover? Maybe he should be paid more for his "heroic", old school effort. Gimme a break.

I love the one where the young girl finds the foul ball and how overjoyed her friend is for her -- made my day
