New job for Prince William

LONDON (AP) - Prince William is taking a new job: Air ambulance pilot.

Britain's royal officials have announced that the royal will train for about five months as a helicopter pilot with East Anglian Air Ambulance. If successful, he will join the group, based in Cambridge, next spring.

Kensington Palace said Thursday the stint will be William's main job, though he will also continue to take on royal duties and engagements both in Britain and overseas.

The royal's duties will include flying and working with medics to respond to emergencies ranging from road accidents to heart attacks.

William ended active service as a Royal Air Force search-and-rescue pilot last year, shortly after his and his wife Kate's first son, Prince George, was born.

What a great individual this man is....
He is a true credit to his family....
And if the truth be known,
A truer credit to his mother, Princess Diana.....

He's doing a lot more than his useless father.. All Prince Charles did was play and chase that old ugly Camilla around. What a difference.

I'm an American. I greatly admire and have the utmost respect for the Royal Family. While the Princes are continuing to educate themselves to provide invaluable service to their country's citizenry, our own "royal family" is busy teaching their young how to party on our dime. The 0BlameEveryoneElse's need to learn a few things from the UK.

I was hoping his new job was King. LOL Charles is a twit. I believe his mom (the Queen) knows this and why she keeps firm grasp on her crown.

Britain is a constitutional monarchy and 10 Downing St. is where the action is......not Buckingham Palace. There really is no reason for the queen to abdicate. She is already being represented by the Royal Family at home and abroad. If she became completely incapacitated either physically or mentally, then Charles would most likely become regent, rather than king, until she died.....then he would be king. I am of the opinion that Camilla would never be accepted as England's queen......she would be his consort.....but not Queen Consort. England has had a regency before.

What is he like 33? Maybe 34? AND HE HASN'T HAD A JOB IN OVER A YEAR?

Wonder how he's paying for that posh house, all the refurbishments and his trophy brood mare. Oh wait...
