Woods ready to tee it up in the PGA Championship

Will Tiger Register For PGA Championship?

By DOUG FERGUSON

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) -- Barely able to tie his shoes three days ago, Tiger Woods is ready to tee it up in the PGA Championship.

Woods finally arrived at Valhalla on Wednesday, leaving him enough time to play nine holes on a golf course he has not seen since he won the PGA Championship 14 years ago. He says the back injury that caused him to withdraw Sunday at the Bridgestone Invitational was not related to the pain that required surgery on March 31.

He says his trainer was able to fix the problem, and once he felt he had full range of motion, he was ready to tackle the final major of the year.

Woods easily slipped into golf shoes, and he played nine holes with Davis Love III, Steve Stricker and Harris English without showing a trace of pain. Barring a victory, this likely will be his last tournament for at least six weeks.

When is the new media going to stop giving this jerk some much press?? Very few if any people give a damn about Woods! If he was white he would not be given the time of day.

People are reading it just so they can comment and let the press know we are sick of him and his antics. The press needs to stop the bowing down to him and write about the ones that are actually playing great.

He got this constant haunting fear of glass breaking and a vision of a 3 iron hitting him in the back of the head to deal with!

I agree with all the comments given. He complains about his back all of a sudden when he loses ground. He is a disgrace to the game because of what he did. Stop giving him so much press about his back so-called problems. Start talking about golfers who are in contention.

Look dummy Tiger is the greatest golfer you will ever see and he does whatever he wants to in life, unlike a ***** like you who takes orders from a mommy or a wife......

What a miracle!!! AMAZING ! In just 3 days his trainer fixed him and Woods can even bend over and tie his shoes. What a bunch of bull ****. Face it. Woods is washed up. Maybe his caddy needs to bring along an extra crying towel.

This guy is such a fake. Anytime he has no chance of winning he WD's to avoid further embarrasement. If he was really hurt, there is no way he could play golf this week.
