Adorable toucan attempts selfie

A toucan landed on a traffic light in Brazil and was either trying to eat it or take a selfie. We'll let you decide.

In this surveillance video we found on YouTube, the toucan pops into the frame of the camera and opens its mouth like it's trying to eat it.

Media outlets are loving the bird. One called it the toucan's "fifteen minutes of fame," and another got a little punny with the line,"I've toucan a wrong turn!" Another outlet compared it to a popular cereal character -- Toucan Sam.

Maybe it thought the traffic light was a piece of really hard, colorful fruit. Fruit is one of the bird's main diet staples, according National Geographic.
