Holy bling! See Avril Lavigne's huge anniversary gift

Avril Lavigne wed Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger a year ago, and now he's given his wife an outrageous piece of jewelry to mark the occasion.

It's clearly been quite the 12 months for Avril and Chad. The 29-year-old took to Twitter to share a photo of their special day -- and while their smiles are sweet, it's that HUGE bling we're all staring at.

"I still can't believe my 1 year anniversary gift," she wrote. "17 carat emerald cut. Wow. I love my hubby."

This massive new bling is bigger than her engagement ring, which was a 14-carat whopper. But get this: she has an even bigger one. She got a 20-carat stunner on her wedding day. Guess Chad really wanted to put a ring on it ... and then another ... and then another ...

Avril and Chad met while co-writing a song, and six months later, he popped the question. They tied the knot in the South of France, and the bride wore black.
