Toronto Cop Dances to the Reggae Groove

Francis Bayotas was at the Beaches Jazz Festival in Toronto recently when he came across the unusual sight of a policeman getting groovy with reggae music. He certainly danced like no one was watching, but now thousands of people have seen his moves. The original video has over 67,000 shares on Facebook.

Like most police officers he's simply a great human being having fun. Less than 1% of police officers dishonor the badge making it a more honorable profession than the clergy and military. Police officers deserve our respect, don't let a few bad apples ruin it for all the wonderful officers who protect us daily.

Glad he is having FUN. He deserves it.
Good thing he isn't in the US. Some PC idiot would be calling for his resignation for having fun on duty.

That's approximately the response time of Houston PD last night when I was about to shoot what I thought was a home invasion scam with a woman supposedly crying and banging on my door at 3:30 in the morning. Kudos to the HPD cops at the W Montgomery substation and any neighboring substations who responded. They get ALL the negative press but never the praise to which they are entitled. Turns out she was just a drunk at the wrong address.....totally unaware how close to death she came because she can't control her alcohol.

What a great video! Such a pleasant change from what we all have been reading and commenting about. The man has moves!

That is great. That boy can move. Nothing like having fun on your job. Everybody needs to stop and have fun every now and then. This will be a great way to build a relationship with the community showing them that he is human too.

fabulous, people that let themselves go like that usually are the sanest. Is that a word?

Love this. This is calypso music though, not reggae. I love that he has his mini tambourine; he is obviously from the Caribbean. I used to jam out to this song.
