Rare baby 'geep' (goat/sheep mix) born in Arizona

Meet the

It's not a lamb and it's not a sheep. This animal is actually a baby "geep': half goat, half sheep.

No, we're not messing with you. This cutie's name is Butterfly, and she's a pretty rare species and possibly the only "geep" in the state of Arizona. Her mom is a sheep, while her dad is a pygmy goat.

The petting zoo owners didn't even know the sheep was pregnant and the chances of a "geep" being a stillborn are high.

Only a week old, and she's already making friends at the tiny petting zoo -- and apparently, she's totally fearless. Petting zoo workers say her newest buddy is a horse.

Regardless of the cuteness factor, animals cross breeding and reproducing, grosses me out. Irresponsible animal husbandry, to say the least.

It's a mix of Obama, Pelosi, and Reid with a big dose of socialist liberalism.

Was this a natural birth or was it manipulated by man?

And there are obvious signs when a ewe is pregnant. Not only do they become much more "quiet", but the abdomen swells and the udder engorges with milk. She should have had her diet supplemented, and should have been vaccinated. The baby should be having vaccinations as well. I suspect that poor Butterfly is going to have a sad life, judging from the dirt pens without bedding or grass, old lawn furniture and bale twines ...

Hopefully his mama will love him anyway. And where is the goat?

Actually, Arizona's own Cliven Bundy is a Guman. A cross between an old goat and a human.

Why was that kid putting his finger in the geep's eye?

raasheet - Yeah I saw that too. And grubby fingers in it's mouth. That's the sad life it's going to have. That sheep "laid the golden egg". Know what mean?
