Sun goes 'quiet' after recent activity

Sun Goes Quiet After Recent Activity

The sun appears to be taking a nap of sorts, and scientists are wondering where all the sunspots go?

Space weather calls it the "All Quiet Event," and according to the site's doctor, Tony Phillips, on July 17th, there were no sunspots at all. On the 18th, this photo shows only three tiny sunspots.

This sunspot die-off comes after a quote, "Whole Slew" of sunspots from July 1st through the 10th, according to NASA.

So, should we be worried? "It is weird, but it's not super weird," Phillips writes. "To have a spotless day during solar maximum is odd, but then again, this solar maximum we are in has been very wimpy."

The solar maximum is a period of greatest solar activity in the 11-year solar cycle.

Sunspots are regions of intense magnetic activity. No one knows how long this quiet period will last.
Phillips says, "You just can't predict the sun."

Too bad the noise of the phony, deadbeat White House President could not be switched off. Tired of listening to his lies, false promises, and flip-flop rhetoric!

Astro physicists are warning we are on the verge of a mini ice age, based on solar activity. Stop listening to the climate change hucksters. They are trying to extort more tax money from you.

Call Al Gore. He knows everything about the earths temperature.

Hmmmm... is this a determination of a "consensus of astrophysicists"??? Or is it just the case of "The Big Bang Theory" trying to come up with another explanation of "string theory"? Either way, the lunatics who believe in the myth of man made global climate change will find a way to attribute the change on Sol to using fossil fuels, people with SUV's, coal fired power plants or the lack of taxpayers funding additional green energy scams.

Obviously global warming related and probably because of the measles vaccine too.

OK... there is for the first time in decades a break in sun venting gases - does anyone with more intelligence than those who believe the hoax of the far left about man made global climate change see there may be a connection between the amount of temperature variations on the assorted 8 (9 if you count Neptune) planets and the activity of the sun? Oh... but if that's the case, that means the blather spewed by the GRANT SPENDING CONSENSUS OF CLIMATE SCIENTISTS is nothing but bunk.... endangering their ever increasing amounts of taxpayer paid grants fpr them to waste on more fraudulent data skewing.... oh the horror!

Obama and Al Gore will warn about global warming and or climate change. So dems can have their precious carbon tax which Austrailia got rid of.

sun is dying period... and quickly..perhaps OBAMA CAN ISSUE A DIRECTIVE TO STOP THIS AS WELL ALSO...there is always that left to fall back upon.....This is why you see such cooler temps in late july and upcoming august..A dreadful winter approches that will break all records...if we make it that long..

The universe, itself, is dying...but not quickly. Neither is the sun, unless you think 5 (count'em 5) BILLION years is quickly. But if you're worried, find a cave, move in, and dynamite the entrance...That way, you'll be safe.

But the average temperature is higher. Tell the people in California about the cool weather. Or Australia. Or Africa. Or Europe. We are having bad weather here in Florida.A cold snap followed by extreme heat is what climate change can mean. Try sniffing coal fumes.

I have lived in Florida for 70 years and I have not seen anything new in the weather. Overall it is just the same old hot humid summers and mild winters.
