Confusion over whether Malaysia black boxes found

KIEV, Ukraine (AP) - A pro-Russia rebel leader says no black boxes have been found in the scattered wreckage of the Malaysia Airlines plane that was shot down over eastern Ukraine, conflicting with a statement made by an aide to a rebel military leader.

Separatist leader Aleksandr Borodai says "no black boxes have been found ... We hope that experts will track them down and create a picture of what has happened."

Earlier Friday, an aide to rebel military leader Igor Girkin, a Russian better known by his assumed name Strelkov, said authorities had recovered eight out of 12 recording devices.

Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 was carrying 298 people when it was shot of the sky on Thursday near the Ukraine-Russia border.

There is no confusion if the Russians get the boxes on their side of the fence they will take them, and if it was their screw up that will be the last we hear of it. If they end up on this side of the fence, and Obama gets his dirty little fingers on them, we will never be sure of what happens because he lies about every thing anyway.

Matter of fact he said "terrible tragedy." His first comment on the crash in Delaware.

I will be surprised if the US or Malaysia ever get their hands on the black boxes. Of course the Russians have them. It would be naïve to think that they don't. And how sad that people are tromping all over the wreckage (crime scene), looting and stealing. What a strange coincidence that this Malaysian flight went down, on the heels of US imposed sanctions against Russia, and so did Malaysian flight 370

Any black box recorders found by the "rebels" will be destroyed. They do not intend to provide evidence which may be used against them, either in a court of law or in the court of world opinion.
