Report: 'Glee' star's boyfriend found dead

Matt Bendik, the boyfriend of "Glee" star Becca Tobin, was found dead in a Philadelphia hotel room. A hotel maid discovered the 35-year-old nightclub owner's body on Thursday afternoon.

According to TMZ police do not suspect foul play and there is no evidence of suicide but are calling the incident a "sudden death." The celebrity news site is also reporting that sources say both Bendik and Tobin were in Philadelphia together this week but there is no word on whether Tobin was in the hotel when the body was found.

Last January, Bendik posted a photo of the pair to Instagram with the caption "hottest 16 yr old I know." Sixteen is of course the age of Tobin's character Kitty Wild on Fox's "Glee." To months ago, the real life 28-year-old actress reposted the photo as a throwback Thursday with the caption "#tbt to the first time @mattbendik and I got our flirt on."

Friends of Benik are already taking to social media to express their sadness over this loss.

So far, calls to Tobin's rep weren't returned.

Almost exactly a year ago, the "Glee" cast suffered a similar tragedy with Cory Monteith.

Last July 13th, the "Glee" star was found dead in a Vancouver hotel room of an overdose from a mixture of heroin and alcohol.
