Police: Another body part found on Long Island

HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. (AP) -- Police are investigating another body part found in a Long Island town.

The discovery Thursday comes a day after authorities found a severed arm in the yard of a Hempstead home.

Homicide detectives in Nassau and Suffolk counties are investigating.

They're trying to determine if the body parts are connected to a partially dismembered body found Tuesday in a municipal parking lot in Bay Shore, about 25 miles east of Hempstead.

Those remains were found by two people who were walking to the Fire Island ferry terminal about a half-mile away.

Tuesday's discovery led Suffolk County police to search the nearby Gilgo Beach area where 10 sets of human remains were found in 2011.

Police say there are no known links between the Bay Shore body and Gilgo, but they're investigating as a precaution.

I live on Li. I am so glad so many think this is a damn joke. What a bunch of tiny minded, immature children.

This happened before a few years back. Maybe the deranged person is back.
To my knowledge, they never solved the old cases.
One sick person out there.

If I still had to live on Long Island, I would have had dismembered myself by now.

Another so many years and they'll have
over head satellites watching the roads in real time. It will be harder and harder
to do these kinds of things.

Now THAT would be funny, kill someone with a transplant and the body parts ARE connected, yet aren't from the same body. That will leave them scratching their pea brains.
