Savannah Guthrie Thanks 'Matt' Instead Of Husband 'Mike' At Baby Shower

TODAY anchor Savannah Guthrie had her baby shower on June 30 with this cute theme -- "Read All About It."

She must have had a little bit of pregnancy brain, because she accidentally called her husband by the wrong name during a thank you speech.

NBC reports that she was a little hormonal.

"Thank you for coming and thank you for being here, I can't say it better than the two most eloquent men, Don and Matt ... Mike ..."

Yeah, safe to say she meant her husband, Michael Feldman.

And not co-host Matt Lauer, who was not in attendance.

She called that moment embarrassing and said that it was a very self-destructive 30 seconds.

While there is some debate over whether pregnancy brain is an actual thing, it may not have even been that. Think about it, she has to say co-host Matt Lauer's name all the time on-the-air.

The Daily Caller says Matt Lauer is her work husband, after all, so is there that much of a difference?

Other than the slip, it seems to have been a joy-filled shower. Some famous faces, and fellow hosts, like Kathie Lee and Hoda, Gayle King and Jenna Bush Hager were in attendance.

People reports that each guest brought two books -- one for Guthrie's baby and one to be donated to a charity.

"A lot of people inscribed the books with notes to the baby that were really cute," Guthrie, 42, told PEOPLE. "It was really personal. I love that."

With catering from Peter Callahan and décor by Minted, the shower was decked out, too.

Guthrie and her husband are keeping the baby's gender a surprise -- and they have affectionately named him or her "blueberry."
