Man threatens to kill talk show host Michael Strahan

A homeless man was arrested outside of ABC Studios in New York Tuesday after threatening morning show host Michael Strahan.

According to the New York Post, police identified the man as 25-year-old Andre Johnson and say he went a bit crazy in Times Square around 8 am - about the time when hosts walk outside to interact with the audience.

He reportedly made threatening remarks to the former new york giant outside the studio while wielding a knife.

Security acted quickly and knocked the blade out of Johnson's hands before whisking him away. He's currently being held without bail, charged with felony attempt assault as well as menacing and criminal possession of a weapon.

Last year an Arizona man was arrested after reportedly threatening Nancy Grace and Jane Velez-Mitchell because he was upset with their coverage of the Jodi Arias trial.
