Actor surprised by former H.S. football coach on live TV

'All My Children' Actor Surprised By Old H.S. Football Coach On Live TV

You've seen Chicago native Colin Egglesfield on the big screen with "Something Borrowed" and on TV shows like "Rizzoli and Isles" and "All My Children."

During his return home to run the ITU Triathlon, WGN had a surprise guest for him.

"Are you serious?" Egglesfield exclaimed as his former high school football coach approached him.

The coach went on to call Egglesfield "an outstanding athlete," and the actor had kind words for his former coach, as well.

"There [are] very few people in my life who've helped me get to where I'm at, and you're one of them," he said.

I thought it was pretty cool, for them to have his high school coach on. Kudos to the TV station.
