Rob Lowe rescued from raging floods while on vacation with his family in France

Breaking: Rob Lowe Rescued!

According to People, Rob Lowe and his family had to be rescued from their rental house in Grasse, France, after the southeastern part of the county became victim to racing waters that reached dangerous levels.

Lowe posted this on his Instagram Wednesday with the caption, 'This is is right outside the house. Was twice as high at the worst, just before sunrise.' According to the Toronto Sun, 'the area received the equivalent of three months rainfall in just four hours early Wednesday.'

Lowe's son, Johnny, also posted a video of the flooding on his Instagram (warning: explicit language):

With a photo of his wife hugging first responders that has reportedly since been removed, Lowe reportedly wrote: 'My wife being rescued this am (morning) in the horrific flooding in Grasse France. Glad we are safe. Grateful to first responders.'

Before it all went down, it looked like the 50-year-old 'Parks and Recreation' star, his wife, Sheryl Berkoff, and his sons were having a grand-ol' time.

I am so upset that Rob Lowe and his family had to be rescued from a raging flood while vacationing in France. Today, I have to figure a way to stay in my apartment and how I'm going to eat for the rest of the month. Poor Robby Lowe. I feel soooo bad for him.

Glad everyone is safe. Cool video. Flash floods are very scary and dangerous. Was in one at Lake Mead once Hit the high Ground if you can.

How does having money in the bank save you from drowning, or any other natural disaster, if it comes to that?

Flash floods kill tens of thousands of people every year. You don't seem to know anything about them, so I have no idea why you're commenting.
