'Cousins Undercover': Local hero emotional over home renovation

'Cousins Undercover': Local Hero Emotional Over Home Renovation

On "Cousins Undercover," cousin reno-team John and Anthony surprised a local hero and all-star police officer, Nadia, with a complete home makeover.

Along with totally revamping the home's exterior, cleaning it up and making it more modern, the cousins also re-did the interior. Nadia teared up, noting the beautiful blue wall color that is reminiscent her of her husband's blue eyes.

The home makeover also included a stunning backyard paradise. The family's new gorgeous backyard has an entertainment center and bar/patio with a built-in cooler to keep drinks nice and cold on a summer day.

Zap2It notes that the talented cousin team also has a web series called 'Cousins Deconstructed' where they go behind the scenes of different features they put into their client's homes, including photo walls, floating shelves, and more.

Broadway World was happy to see the duo back on HGTV for a second season of 'Cousins Under Cover.' John and Anthony, who have worked with Ellen DeGeneres's renovation team on previous projects, will be joining the DeGeneres team once again when they surprise two veterans on the July 2 episode.

If anyone did that to the interior of my house I would be furious. I'm glad that she is pleased with it.

This article says nothing about why the officer is considered to be special. Just curious as to why she is considered to be a local hero. Anyone know?

Cool renovation. Hopefully . . they use the new perks . . . like the outside drink area with built-in drink cooler and make it something they enjoy every day in the summer. Sort of like morning coffee or tea . . . but with cold drinks. :) I wonder about people who don't set aside time each day to have a coffee and talk with their loved one(s.) :( I think the dark blue will get old fast. Blue everywhere she looks when she's at work being a lady cop . . . she should go for the color she had and umm . .clean up a little better. :)

Wow! Free re-modeling on your home, a pension around the corner, $30.00 an hour, free health care, discounts on home mortgage, D.R.O.P. option after 20 years when you'll receive a paycheck for $250,000...Being a cop must be a real drag.
