What's The Cast of 'Saved by the Bell' Been Up To?

Lifetime has just announced a new movie in the works called "The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story," which will premiere on September 1st.

It's been more than a decade since Saved by the Bell last episode -- what have the original cast members of "Saved by the Bell" been up to?

Screech, played by Dustin Diamond, starred in the "Saved by the Bell" sequel, "The College Years," and spin-off show, "The New Class," followed by some cartoon voice work -- but he mostly made cameos as himself in movies and reality shows. He also tours and does stand-up comedy. Plus, he made his directorial debut in 2006 with his own sex tape.

Mr. Belding, the most inept principal of all time, was played by Dennis Haskins. Dennis continued his role on "The New Class" and "Good Morning, Miss Bliss." He has also made cameos as himself in music videos, movies and drunken bar selfies.

Everyone's favorite spoiled kid, Lisa Turtle, played by Lark Voorhies, has scored roles in "The Bold and the Beautiful," "In the House" and "How High." She also started her own company, Yo Soy Productions, but most of her publicity lately has been for her make-up mishaps.

Jessie Spano, played by Elizabeth Berkley, has kept very busy since her days at Bayside. She's been in "Showgirls," "The First Wives' Club," "Any Given Sunday," "NYPD Blue," "The Curse of the Jade Scorpion," "The L-Word" and "CSI: Miami," just to name a few.

Since playing A.C. Slater, Mario Lopez has also done very well for himself. He, too, appeared on "The College Years," as well as "Pacific Blue," "The Bold and the Beautiful" and "Nip/Tuck." He has also co-hosted "Extra" for seven years -- six years and fifty weeks longer than his marriage to Ali Landry.

Tiffany-Amber Tiessen, or Kelly Kapowski, has kept busy on "Beverly Hills 90210," "The Ladies Man," "White Collar," and the Pauly Shore movie, "Son In Law." Although she's moved on, we'll never forgive her dating for that jerk, Jeff.

Finally, Mark-Paul Gosselaar a.k.a Zack Morris a.k.a Zack Attack has been in a variety of shows and movies, like "Dead Man on Campus," "Law and Order: SVU," "NYPD Blue," "Commander in Chief," "Franklin & Bash" -- and more. The easy-going actor doesn't resent his fame as Zack Morris. Jimmy Fallon even got him to reprise the character.

Here's hoping that this Lifetime movie will do the original justice and that this new cast and the original will always remain 'Friends Forever.'
