South Korea soldier shoots dead five comrades near border with North

South Korean Soldiers Killed By Comrade In Shooting Spree

SEÚL (Reuters) - A South Korean conscript soldier shot and killed five of his fellow unit members and injured five others late on Saturday at a guard post near the heavily armed border with North Korea, a South Korean official said.

The exact circumstances of the incident at the remote guard post were not immediately clear and the official could not provide further details, although there was no indication that North Korea was involved in the incident.

The incident took place in the Goseong county, a mountainous region that borders the North on the eastern end of the peninsula.

South Korea's Yonhap news agency said there was an operation to capture the conscript who is believed to be on the run carrying a firearm and live ammunitions.

All able-bodied South Korean men must serve about two years under a conscription system that makes up a military of more than 600,000 troops aimed at deterring aggression by North Korea, which is one of the world's most militarised states.

The South Koreans know how to handle their traitors, deserters, and spies...Something the phony President of the United States of America knows nothing of...

They need to bring back the peace time draft and start the conscription system here in the united states, since these children today get no discipline at home perhaps Sargent Carter will beat it into them.

Sounds like a job for King Insane Obozo the Clown to go over and solve and tell them they don`t need any guns and spead all his wisdom and peace over there. You know like he has done over here

One part of why I follow these kinds of posts is to see the creative skills conservatives have to speak ill of the President. Get this, A South Korean Sergent goes off and they can relate it directly to something Obama did. One has to admire that imagination, not necessarily as good but creative. Of course there are people who share meaningful insights where I learn and that offset the outrageous right.

Of course there are no stories on the missing emails. The House is again in recess and on some taxpayer junkets to Europe.

and now we bring one back here (traitor), on a 5 for 1 swap, and for very bad 5 at that. And this guy is probably going to receive around $600,000! Tell me it isn't so? Give him a "Traitor Medal" and put him against a wall and shoot him.

Probably a psychiatrist Korean Muslim. The Korean anti-gun lobby had better step up legislation to do more extensive background checks on the South Korean military, or simply ban all guns to the military to permanently fix the problem. I'm sure North Korea will commend them for disarming....

Yeah, simply ban guns to their military permanently as a fix, and just arm them with baseball bats each, NK would really luv it. Bright.

My thought exactly. Banning guns would surely work!!

The other choice would be to send military advisors.........
