High-Speed Police Chase Barrels Through Golf Course

A driver did some serious damage to a Minnesota golf course. No, not that kind of driver.

KXJB reports "A crazy afternoon around the Fargo, Moorhead area. A driver being chased by police, among many things, tore through a Moorhead golf course."

KVLY mentions "I saw three cops chasing a car down three fairway, and then they ended up ramming through the green into my neighborhood back over there." (Via )

According to WDAY, 33-year-old Kendall Feist sped off in his pickup truck after police attempted to serve him with outstanding drug warrants.

Officers finally managed to stop Feist at a shopping mall in nearby Fargo, North Dakota - but not before he and several police cars tore through the Village Green Golf Course, sending golfers running for their lives.

One caught it all on camera.

HLN has the interview: "My eyes got about the size of golf balls. I turned around, and he jumped the ditch and got on the course. I guess chaos just broke loose after that."

WDAY reports large portions of the course were damaged during the high-speed chase. Thankfully, no one was hurt.

But police say they are now investigating whether officers followed the correct protocol when they followed the suspect onto the course.

KVRR reports "the officers making these decisions to be in a pursuit, it's very dynamic. And the information that they receive may not be consistent to all of them. When they receive the information's important."

As for Feist, he was arrested and booked for his outstanding felony warrants. He now also faces felony charges for fleeing from police and criminal damage to property.
