Man cuts open truck to save kitten

Updated

Errand Frazier didn't think twice when it came to saving a kitten - even though it meant damaging his truck.

He says he was really confused when he heard purring coming from his Chevy truck in May. Obviously, those engines aren't known for making soft sounds so he investigated.

Frazier said, "I pulled this back here and I looked and he was lookin' at me and I said oh, Lord, what am I gonna do?"

Frazier cut into the side of his truck, peeled back part of the metal and low and behold - there was a kitten. Inside his truck.

The tiny thing was still stuck and Frazier had to call on the local humane society to help get it out. And one good deed lead to another - when his story spread around town, community members offered to fix his truck for free... and the kitten has already been adopted!

Cats and cars don't seem to mix very well...especially in May.

The same month Frazier saved that kitten in his truck, a cat in New Hampshire was pulled from a car engine at a Walmart parking lot. The man started his car, but the engine stopped and when he went to check it out he found Tommy.

Fortunately, after an hour-and-a-half-long surgery and more than 100 stitches, he was back on his feet.
