Best and worst dressed at the CMT Music Awards 2014
We love the bold pattern of Carrie's dress, especially combined with the keyhole cut out and thigh-high slit!
Though her hair and makeup are flawless, we just can't get on board with this dress (or those shoes).
Oh Shawna, this dress feels very winter-heavy, not summery and light like we'd hope for.
Just perfection, from head to toe!
Just not sure what's going on here. This doesn't feel like a fitting dress for this awards show!
Nettles looks flawless in this ensemble. THIS is how to wear wide-leg pants, ladies and gents!
We're super against anyone over the age of 10 wearing tutus.
Like we said, thigh-high slits are so on trend right now. And Rimes rocked this one!
Brooklyn, we love you. But this dress makes us kinda want to yawn...
This dress is amazing because of the bold pattern, and you can totally tell that Cook knows how amazing her dress is.
Wait, is this sophomore year of college or an awards show?
Um, he's John Legend. Duh.
We're all for crop tops, but this combo just feels wrong.
This dress looks a little bit like a comforter. Just not our favorite.
This dress belongs at an 8th grade dance... don't you think?
BACK TO SLIDE
We love country music awards shows because the stars always keep us on our toes! Tonight's CMT Music Awards was no different, with quite the range of ensembles. Miranda Lambert blew us away in an absolutely perfect sparkly mini dress (she's essentially winning the red carpet lately), and Carrie Underwood looked gorgeous in a patterned, cut-out gown. LeAnn Rimes brought sexy to the red carpet in her white-hot gown with quite the slit.
Unfortunately, tonight's red carpet had a lot more misses than it did hits, with stars like Nicole Kidman, Beth Behrs and Brooklyn Decker (um, we know. It pains us to say it!) left us wanting and wishing for a lot more.
