Angels Fan Celebrates Too Soon After Falling On Woman

Often times it's the athletes caught celebrating too early ... but not this time. One Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim fan made a nice play on a foul ball Monday night, but celebrated while a woman he landed on was obviously in pain. Comcast SportsNet had the moment:

"Oh my goodness gracious, he just landed on that poor lady! How bad do you want it?"

This fall is getting national attention and was featured on "Fox & Friends" segment "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly" Tuesday morning. And yep, you guessed, it, the fan's diving catch was "The Ugly."

"A woman absolutely crushed by an Angels fan trying to catch a foul ball. Look, the woman, she grabs her shoulder in pain while the fan high fives those around him."

The New York Daily News points out the woman was seen mouthing, "My shoulder, my shoulder" in pain as the fan was celebrating right next to her.

But, talk show host Dan Patrick says the backward-hat-wearing fan isn't to blame.

"He's like this ... ball coming, ball coming ... drifting, drifting ... he doesn't know that he's gonna sandwich her. She should've gotten out of the way."

There's no word yet on how the woman is doing.
