Professional Surfer, Model Charged With Attempted Murder

A professional surfer and model in Hawaii is being held on a one million dollar bond for allegedly running over an elderly woman.

Police say 30-year-old Jill Hansen followed 73-year-old Elizabeth Conklin to her home Wednesday and then ran her over as she got out of her car, not once...but TWICE.

Hansen reportedly backed up and hit the victim again after that. Conklin says she would have hit her a third time had it not been for a bystander who smashed the rear window of Hansen's car.

Conklin: "I just saw her in her car getting ready to hit me again. He totally saved my life... I parked in my normal parking place and I got out and then all of a sudden I woke up in an ambulance."

She then tried to run from the scene when witnesses stopped her from driving away...and she was arrested at her home hours later.

Hansen is a self-proclaimed professional surfer and model and reportedly has a separate assault case pending, according to Hawaii News Now. Her father filed a restraining order against her after she allegedly tried to hire a hitman to kill him and his family.

In this most recent case, she's been charged with attempted murder and is expected to appear in court this week.
