Brave bulldogs meet a black bear

It seems this black bear was an uninvited guest on the New Hampshire farm of Youtube user Cue Foils. When the beast trespassed into the yard to take a taste of their bird feeder, the owner's two bulldogs broke through their enclosure to surround the bear in a pretty incredible scene. See how the standoff unfolds in the video above.

From the owners:
"Our Bulldogs actually broke through the railings on our farmer's porch to confront our guest! One might say this bear is the world's the most, mild-mannered Black Bear ever confronted."

Didn't see two dogs come back? Bears are part of the territory sorry to see him run off like that. Lucky he was surprised and took off, if it were a female with cubs those dogs would be dead.

Bears, unless threatened, are always pretty mild mannered.

Not always. Lot of black bear attacks in Fl. lately as well as other places. It depends on the situation, cubs involved, etc. Just up the street from me a guy ran into a bear in his back yard with cubs. He had two dogs with him. One dog ended up dead.

Yes, bulldogs, before they suffered much genetic alterations, such as their pushed in noses, were fierce bull attackers until the practice was deemed humane. They were larger, and did not look as they do today. Lucky for these dogs, this bear was overly docile.

Some idiot let those dogs out of the house, risking their lives over a bird feeder.
Glad the dogs didn't get hurt but the moron who let the dogs out like that should not be allowed to own pets anymore. Very irresponsible dog owner.
