Nats' Williams 'fine' after hit-and-run in car

Matt Williams Hit By Police Chase Participant

WASHINGTON (AP) -- This is not the sort of hit-and-run situation Nationals manager Matt Williams expected to encounter on a game day.

Williams says he was stopped in traffic a few blocks away from Nationals Park while driving to work Wednesday when his car was sideswiped by another vehicle that then took off, chased by police.

And it all happened while Williams was doing his weekly live radio appearance with "The Junkies" on 106.7 The Fan.

Meeting with reporters before Washington's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers, Williams says: "I'm fine. No worries. Car's not real good, but I'm good."

Williams says his car wasn't hit very hard.

"All I feel is this car just kind of nudge in between myself and another car," he says, adding: "It was odd."

Okay. Where is the rest of the story. What happened to the other driver...was he caught, arrested, etc.? No more BS, HP.

Ummmmm....his car wasn't involved in the police chase. His car was involved in the hit and run accident. Do the writers of these stories leave their comprehension abilities at home?

If you live near DC you can only surmise it was a juvenile driving a stolen car and he quickly slipped back into the impoverished areas of the city near the ball park. Of course the only oddity was it was during the day time and most of the knuckleheads don't get up before dark. Maybe it was a late night and the driver was still out and about around the lunch hour.

A very racial slur to call someone a "Nudger" never mind a "Dodger". Should be a $25 Million Dollar, no wait $50 Million dollar fine and at least life, maybe two life sentences in prison. Then the Major Liberal-Bastards should suspend him too! tee hee! ROTFLMAO
