'The Voice': Everyone pokes fun at Adam Levine's new platinum blonde hair

On "The Voice," Adam Levine showed off his new platinum blonde hairdo and just about everyone made fun of him for it.

First Blake took a few stabs at the Sexiest Man Alive. Later in the show, Twitter fans jumped in on the action too ... and Carson was happy to read some of the tweets aloud.

Blake: Come on, Miley!
Carson: "@LoveisaMelody, "the bleach is burning my scalp."
Carson: "@LexLavine writes, "will the real slim shady please stand up?"

Adam said he didn't really have an explanation as to why he dyed his hair blonde, but said he liked it and felt like a futuristic cyborg. Usher agreed that it was futuristic alright, saying, "Adam looked more like Bruce Willis from 'The Fifth Element.'"

Hollywood Life noted that when the 35-year-old year old pop star first posted this picture on his Twitter page a few days ago, the fan reaction was negative all around.

Adam is taking all of the criticism in good fun, tweeting out to fans, "I hope people understand that when they say my hair looks creepy I take that as the highest compliment."
