Floating Grilled Cheeses to Parachute Into New York City

Melted cheese ... falling from the sky. It's the stuff dreams are made of.

And that carb-filled dream is about to come true for New Yorkers!

An Australian company that sends parachuting grilled cheese sandwiches to hungry customers waiting on the ground, is coming to the Big Apple. The floating grilled sammies are called Jafflechutes, a play on the Australian word for grilled cheese. Here's how the skydiving food works.

Cheese enthusiasts order their 6 dollar meal via PayPal.

The "Jafflechutes" creators will pick a time and spot in New York City, mark it with an "X," and voila, a sandwich sliced and ready to eat floats down.

The creators say the outlandish idea is the result of brainstorming business ideas, while taking a break from technology.

That's some tasty creativity I think we can all get behind. Cupcake A-T-M, it's your move.

If they do this in New York, there will be calls to the police about Grilled Cheese Snatchers....

Maybe this works in Sydney, but in NYC the thermal updraft would mess up the trajectory, and some A- whole would end up eating the sandwich you paid for.

Nothing is "in" the parachutes. It is "under" the parachutes.

"Bundles from sky are stuff dreams are made of" More like nightmares. Damned if
I'm going to stand somewhere waiting for food of questionable origin and no way to send it back to the kitchen if something is wrong. This is just stupid!

You can make very good and interesting grilled cheese sandwiches with the Black and Decker waffle maker. The waffle iron makes interesting crispy dimples.
Butter one side of two slices of bread. Place one slice in the machine, add four slices of good deli American cheese, six slices of pepperoni, and top with other slice of bread butter side up.
Close and it's ready when it blnks. Result is grilled cheese perfection. It's that easy and tasty trust me.
Serve with tomato soup containing chicken wings, sweet potato hunks, and corn on the cobb.
