Danica McKellar booted from 'Dancing With the Stars'

'The Wonder Years' Star Danica McKellar Eliminated From DWTS

Danica McKellar and partner Val Chmerkovskiy said goodbye to the "Dancing With The Stars" stage tonight as they are the latest couple to be eliminated.

The duo performed the tango this week and got a near perfect score of 38 out of 40. Unfortunately, it didn't save them from last week's votes. "The Wonder Years" star was all smiles bidding adieu to the show.

TOM: "Danica and Val."

DANICA: "It's been absolutely amazing. I had the best time ever and I didn't want to see any of them eliminated so I guess it works out."

CarterMatt commended Danica's powerful tango even after recovering from a broken rib during rehearsal last week.

"Danica brought fun and passion to almost every single thing that she did. She was not only extremely fun, but was also a fighter. She battled a number of injuries over the course of the season, with the most notable one being a broken rib. However, she continued to fight through whatever pain she was in, and continue to press onward without fear."

TV Grapevine agreed and said the music and choreography made it the best tango on the show so far.

Danica and Val left tonight standing fourth on the judges leaderboard.

Unbelievable harsh, rude, crude comments. Put yourselves in the shoes of the pro dancers teaching non dancers in just a matter of weeks. Endure the stress and strain on your bodies striving for perfection by the stars while trying to live daily lives and maintain thier work careers. Cudos to the judges, pro dancers and all the stars for putting themselves in front of the camera week after week. I have been a fan of DWTS from their first show, never missing one. I've been a competitive dancer and know the pain of performing and losing to better dancers only to perform better the next time around. Do any of you understand what I'm talking about? Get Over it and Stop complaining about these marvelous performers. Can any of you perform better than them? Stop being so critical.

I won't watch this season because of the "Pro" ice skaters that have been taking dance all their life, so unfair to be up against people like Drew Carrey.

Pro skaters only start out with the grace of dance, but to take the skates and ice away is a totally different type of adjustment to a floor. Athletes also do well because of their training and they are in great shape. You shouldn't diss on these Olympic athletes, what about Apollo Ono, he was a speed skater are you upset he won? He turned out to be a great dancer and had no dance abilities. Many celebs who dance on this show have a history of true dance, Jennifer Grey, the girl from the ***** Cat Dolls, NIcole I think. I think Max and Meryl should win because they are good together and the best couple this season.

I hated the guest judge on last night show. Her comments were marginal; small critiques about feet. She is from a lame cable show and should stay there - well maybe not stay there. I am sure they can from someone more gracious to work with children.

I wasn't all that interested in what Flabbie Lee had to say this week.

Seems this is not a dancing contest, it is a popularity contest. Danica should never have gone... They need a group of professionals to judge not the public

Hated Abbie Lee do not watch her show so why would i like her on DWTS. She added nothing to the show. I'm fine with the three regular judges, just be constructive. PS If Max doesn't win this year will not watch again.

I'm with you, and all the judges slammed him big time last night, so he is low on the judges votes, if the public doesn't vote to keep him then he is gone, and I think the judges influence the people vote. If he goes next week, I'm done watching, I don't know whe he came back. You could tell from his face he was ticked when Val got the boot. I am so sick of Derek, I could vomit.

Class and style, Danica! Unlike certain judges invited to sit on the panel.

The extra "judge" adds nothing and this one, Abbie Lee, was only on to critize each couple to prove how much she knows and get publicity for her show. I have never seen her show and find her extremely grating and highly annoying and a fat slug that likely can't dance herself.

They need to stick with the ORIGINAL 3 JUDGES! Guest judges have NO CLUE how hard these people work to be on this show and their opinion's should NOT count against anyone! KUDOS to Val for his honesty! Get rid of the clowns and give these people a fair shake!

I thought I heard Maks make a comment too...denouncing the guest judge, blowing off her criticism!

They need to go back to real dancing, not this new stuff.
