British royals spotted at Memphis restaurant

Princes Harry and William's Royal Bros Trip To Memphis

May. 2, 2014 10:14 AM EDT

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - British Princes William and Harry have been spotted at a downtown Memphis, Tennessee, restaurant.

Local media reported the two arrived Thursday night for a dinner party in a private room of Charles Vergo's Rendezvous.

Tennessee has been abuzz for weeks with speculation on whether William and Harry would travel to Memphis for the weekend wedding of a friend.

A C Wharton Jr., mayor of the Tennessee city famous for Blues music, says Memphis was ready to host the British royals should they attend what he describes as a strictly private affair.

A busy weekend looms in Memphis with the start of the annual Memphis in May tourism event and The Beale Street Music Festival kicking off.

just thought of something else - prince harry visited our veterans cemetaries - NOT like the jerk in the white house who does nothing for anyone UNLESS it will benefit his image. Unless there is a photo op - nothing - prince harry's visit was unknown to USA until he returned home

I see NOTHING racist in the comment by "gavis". Such a sad life you must have, Denny. Spending all your energy making everything try to have a racial tone. Sometimes, Denny, it just is what it is.

many men run the risk of hair loss simply by being men. a real man rises above hair loss, and his manliness shows through. Having hair or not having hair should not concern a real man and only those with shallow minds will think think otherwise.

Thank goodness at least someone feels that way. My dad was bald at 30. I've gotten to 81 and still have enough to comb.........if I'm not too particular about which way the three strands lean! LOL

Hope they visit the sick kids at St. Judes and work, really work at a soup kitchen for the homeless. That would be very nice visits to do.
Of course the Brit Citizens are the real benefactors for allowing the royals to exist. The jury is out from my standpoint but it is nice in this crazy world to have some British Royality still around.
God Save The Queen!

Just what the heck is wrong with having money? Everybody I know who has money worked their asses off for it, it was never just given to them. Want more money? then go out and work for it and work hard.

u do remember prince harry got brought back from war due to someone spilling the beans he was prince harry/ u do remember prince william is also in military/they both are very active in aiding the sick/ prince george's godparents are "commonfolk" - they are in a very difficult place of being "royal" and being "normal". i wish our government would take a lesson from thse 2 young men
