It was Latin week on "Dancing With The Stars," which meant a lot of fun -- but the fun came to an end for one couple.

TOM: "Nene and Tony..."

NENE: "To stand here and compete with Olympians with no dance experience at all, I am proud of NeNe Leakes!"

NeNe was described as on the most surprising and entertaining contestants this season. She left the show saying she hopes that she inspired women all over the world, calling her experience amazing and positive. She also went on to thank her husband, her children and her fans who have supported her along the way.

Many saw NeNe's elimination coming, including CarterMatt, who called the night's outcome "predictable."

"NeNe was a fun dancer, and she did better than many probably thought she would going into this. We don't really think that many 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' fans regularly watch this show... So far, Cody Simpson is the only surprise boot of the season."

But Nene's goodbye wasn't the only sad news of the night -- Paralympian Amy Purdy suffered a mid-show injury and was rushed to the hospital. She said she cracked her back and was having trouble breathing.

Amytweeted out to her fans telling them what happened, and reassuring everyone she was in good hands.

And when one fan asked if she'll be back next week, she responded, "Fingers crossed, we'll know soon enough."
