'Deadliest Catch': Vessel Catches Fire With Five People On Board

On the season premiere of "Deadliest Catch," five people on board a vessel called the Western Venture quickly found themselves in extreme danger.

"Reporting that the boat looks like it's on fire ... we're hoping that they're sitting in a life raft."

The five people on the boat were able to escape the flames in a life raft and signal for help. A coast guard surveillance plane was then able to keep track of the drifting crew's life raft until eventually they were rescued by a good Samaritan boat. Luckily, everyone survived.

Fans on Twitter were loving the premiere and we mean really loving it.

Some even joined in on "The Deadliest Catch" Fantasy Game, where viewers can create their own fantasy team and choose their favorite crew members from the show.

Top scoring players can take home weekly prizes and have the chance to meet the captains in Dutch Harbor Alaska.

Anyone looking to sign up can do so at Discovery.com/Catchgame.
