Man's three-word obit goes viral

Swedish Man Writes 3-Word Obituary

Frank Sinatra said it best - in the end "I'll do it my way." And that's exactly what one Swedish man did.

Stig Kernell told his local funeral home to forgo the traditional obituary and instead publish one simple line when he finally passed...that line?

"I am dead."

Obit
He felt that sufficiently summed it up. His son said he had a great sense of humor, which is reflected in the brief obit. He said it shows his dad wasn't afraid of death.

Kernell was 92 years old when he passed -- if he was hoping to keep his obit simple, it kind of had the opposite effect.

Newspapers around the world picked up the unusual obituary ... giving much more acknowledgement to Kernell's death than he ever intended!

My favorite was on a tombstone out west somewhere (I forget exactly where) that read: "See? I TOLD you I was sick!"

I saw an obit in the local paper for a 97-year-old lady . .. instead of saying she "passed away" or "died", it said she "left the party" !!!! How AWESOME!!!

My wife has written this one for me......

Jack Died. Harley for sale.

Following obit is purportedly true. " Here lay the bones of Nettie Jones. In life she knew no terrors. A virgin born, a virgin died. No hits , no runs, no errors. "
