One professor's rule was used against him to make for one hilarious April Fool's prank. The "Today" show has the video.

'One professor there has a rule that if your cell phone rings in class, if you're a student, you've got to answer the call, you've got to put it on speaker phone.'

'Hi, this is Kevin from the pregnancy resource center. Per your request I'm calling to inform you that the test results have come back positive, congratulations!'

The YouTube video continues:

'Okay, you might want to shut that down.'
'I want to publicly apologize.'
'I already know what I'm going to name the baby. The first name will be 'April' and the middle name will be 'Fools.''

After the joke was revealed, the professor told his students, 'You can't understand the internal relief.'

Looks like that little rule of his came back to bite him. The prank took place during a macroeconomics class at Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Although it wasn't posted to YouTube until April 5, it's being called the best April Fools' prank of 2014.

YouTube commenters agreed, one saying, 'Love it! You'd think these kids were professionals.'

We certainly agree. Bravo, Aquinas students!
