'Worst Thing I Ever Posted': The No. 1 celeb social media blunder

'Worst Thing I Ever Posted': The No. 1 Celeb Social Media Blunder
E! counted down the top 10 unfiltered, regretful and embarrassing celebrity social media moments on the special, "Worst Thing I Ever Posted."

So who topped that list? Geraldo Rivera, proving that bad judgement knows no age. Back in July, Rivera posted a near-naked selfie on Twitter.

Other contenders for most embarrassing celebrity moment were Kim Kardashian, Amanda Bynes and Justin Bieber ... but they all fell short of Rivera's nakedness.

Rivera's decision to tweet after drinking too much tequila had some repercussions.

The infamous selfie actually cost Rivera a speaking gig that year at Duquesne University.

"A spokesperson for the Pittsburgh school said the 70-year-old's photo was 'inappropriate and not in line with the school's values as a Catholic university.' Rivera called the cancellation 'pretentious censorship.'"

Fans on Twitter were loving the show, saying it was pretty hilarious and entertaining.

Hilarious......it isn't going to matter for someone like Geraldo. He has money, and it won't cost him anything; although I don't know who wants to look at him naked anyway. However, young folks need to understand when you post naked (or near naked) pics of yourself, they can go anywhere. Employers could get hold of them.

Terms like hater and selfie are so high school and grade schoolish. People and the author of this article need to grow up and act and talk like adults.

Number one blunder by anyone (not just celebrities) is using the social networks - any of them - for any purpose. Just why does anyone need the self-serving need to broadcast when they use the restroom or pass gas or watch a car go by? More confusing is why anyone needs to have some anonymous cyber-stalker "like" them? What a colossal waste of bytes!

I guess his "washboard abs" are a substitute for common sense. Keep your clothes on, Geraldo. This photo was clearly TMI.

Geraldo has always been narcissistic and eager to show off his body. Frankly, I'm pretty impressed that he's in such good shape at 70. I was never as offended as everyone else by this photo. It's innocent enough, and he lost credibility years ago, so what's the problem? The "questionable taste" was demonstrated by Duquesne University for inviting him to speak in the first place.

Geraldo's underwear is like Al Capone's hidden vaults......there's NOTHING in there!
