'Biggest Loser' winner reveals 20-lb. weight gain

'Biggest Loser' Winner Rachel Frederickson Gained 20 Pounds

After winning the latest season of Biggest Loser in February all eyes were on Rachel Frederickson.

Not only because she lost 155 lbs, but also because her final weight was 105 lbs. Even the show's judges were visibly disturbed. Many of the show's viewers criticized the 24-year-old for losing too much weight.

Now in an interview with Us Weekly, Frederickson says she's gained some weight and cut back on working out and her strict diet. She told the magazine, "I've gone up about 20 pounds. I think I'm at my perfect weight!" The now 125-lb. Frederickson even calls the criticism she received a "gift."

As far as her current lifestyle in the few months since winning she says she is in constant contact with nutritionists and even sneaks an occasional Oreo now and then.

Leave her alone. She did what she had to do - and only she will reap the rewards or suffer the consequences.

dont gain any more or listen to critics about too much lost. KEEP IT OFF!!! I made the mistake of listening to critics ....and now I never took it off again.

She did lost a little too much weight, but certainly healthier because of it. You know that she'd adjust to a more normal weight after the crazy workouts.

Maybe she lost 5-10 lbs more than ideal. Better than being morbidly obese. In the U.S. today normal weight people like myself are called skinny because we thing average weight is normal weight. Beside are normal weights for heights are probable a bit high. You can start picking up increased risk of type 2 diabetes at a BMI of 22 and above yet a BMI of 19-25 is listed as normal. There are a lot of people especially women that have very large body fat percentages at 25.

Good to see she gained a bit. Curves are good. Gaunt isn't. She looks much better. A few more lbs won't hurt her. AND, 20 lbs isn't a ton if you are underweight like she was.
I feel she lost more weight to begin with to WIN, not for the sake of just losing. You can do a lot with that money!

You will recieve both negative and positive comments about what you have achieved. I say, Congratulations on your weight loss and follow your own heart's desire. Do not let anyone else tell you what you should or should not do. Remember that there are many out there who are not able to discipline themselves to do what you did, and they do not like the fact that you had that discipline and that you stuck with it. It is natural that you would gain some back as a result of not following such a strict diet and not maintaining the exercise level which you were doing. You look absolutely beautiful and I would like to encourage you to maintain where you are and never let your guard down. This will be a lifetime of maintenance to keep the weight off and you can do it. I know some who did it and few maintain their achievements. Follow your heart's desire, keep healthy

Ya just can't make everybody happy. Now some will criticise her for gaining some weight I bet. Good for her though. I hope she stays where she is now.
