'Late Show' plays cruel April Fools' prank on Kristin Chenoweth

Kristin Chenoweth dropped by the "Late Show" and David Letterman dropped a pretty cruel April Fools' prank on her. Literally.

"No matter where I'm at, I always look up. Because I want to know if, you know, anything's gonna fall," Kristin said, really setting herself up for what was about to happen.

A sandbag dropped from the ceiling right onto the desk, and Kristin (understandably) freaked out. "I'm sweating in between my cleavage!"

If you don't remember, a massive lighting fixture fell on Kristin back in 2012 on set of "The Good Wife." Co-stars thought Kristin was dead, and she was rushed to the hospital.

She still has some cognitive issues from the accident. Of course, she had just finished recounting that story when the sandbag dropped.

Fans on Twitter were cracking up over the moment, though -- they can't get enough Cheno.
