Women of 'Duck Dynasty' tell all in ABC interview

Women of 'Duck Dynasty' Tell All in ABC Interview

The ladies of "Duck Dynasty" joined "Good Morning America" to spill some family secrets ... and it turns out, Kay Robertson was pregnant before she married Phil.

'It is so easy for me to be honest now.'

In December, granddaughter Sadie Robertson posted a celebratory tweet, saying 'Pawpaw Phil' finally put a ring on it. Famously religious couple Phil and Kay had been married for 50 years.
As for the revelation, Kay said she feels like God loves her, her family loves her, and so do her fans ... so she's comfortable with putting it all out there.

Other family matters were also mentioned.

The sensitive subject of infidelity was brought up during the interview - Lisa was asked about cheating on her husband, Alan.

'Phil actually advised Alan not [to] take you back.'

'It wasn't that they hated me so much, but it was just the pain that they saw him going through.'

The two briefly separated, but have since worked through their problems.

The women tell all in their new book, 'The Women of Duck Commander,' which also includes Missy's story about daughter Mia, who was born with a cleft palate.

The ladies have been making headlines everywhere. Recently, Fox News spoke with another member of the duck clan, Jessica Robertson, who's married to Jep. She says her husband actually baptized her.

'Jessica said she was going through quite a lot and carrying some unnamed baggage when she met Jep and started going to Bible study groups.'

It's perhaps refreshing the Robertson women are in the news - family patriarch Phil stirred up controversy last year with anti-gay remarks in an interview with GQ.

Kay mentioned that firestorm in the "Good Morning America" interview, saying her husband loves everybody, and they would embrace a gay grandchild.

Been around just long enough to know when to peg something a fad that will have its time. I have nothing against any of these people. They believe what they believe and that's fine. They are deep into family and that is great. I just don't see the 'show' remaining in vogue for much longer. Its a been there done that show now.
After Christmas I was in Wally World and they had a ton of the Duck Dynasty stuff reduced to just about nothing. Walls of the stuff. They still made a ton and all are more than likely multi millionaires that's for sure.

fris, they were millionaires before A&E ever heard about them. They didn't make their millions off of the show or the t-shirts. They made it from the duck calls Phil invented. That, and their education, have taken their company to the top. The show is a side-line to them.

Do all of you posting comments on here realize that HuffPost and AOL put these devisive articles on here to drum up clicks for advertising dollars. Facts are not part of what they do, but they want to divide readers and create hostility and particularly rile up the radicals that are so prevalent on HuffPost anyhow. The Enquirer of the Internet, tabloid journalism.

I feel that the Robertson's are a wonderful loving family regardless of the shag press Mr. Phil got about the anti gay remarks. How you say things can be taken out of context and there is no ill will against gay people, just that Mr. Phil feels that women and men should be a couple. He has a right to his opinion regardless of what it is. I personally feel if it be 2 men or 2 women want to be married or raise children, they should have the right. Gay people are wonderful parents and couples and I don't see a thing wrong with it. That's my opinion. Love is Love. If people could get their minds out of the bedrooms of gay people the world would be a better place. It's no one business how gay people live or their sex life. Do Hetro couples get judged by their bedroom antics? NO! Get the minds out of the gutter and get real.
