Man Sets New Record for Backward Bowling with Almost-Perfect Game

For those of you who find bowling challenging, imagine doing it backward! "Fox & Friends" tells us about a man in Rockford, Illinois who broke the single-game record for backward bowling.

'His name is Andrew Cowen. He just bowled backwards. Yeah he's now in the record books! He scored 280 in a single game, 20 points shy of a perfect game.'

Cowen seems to be so confident with his skills that instead of taking a peek at the pins after the ball hits, he just listens. The sound of pins falling tells him all he needs to know.

Check out more of his moves here:

'He bowled a spare in the second frame and after that, 10 consecutive strikes.'

This almost-flawless game gives Cowen the right to brag. He beat the former record by two points.

'The previous Guinness World Record was 278 points set back in 2006.'

The holder of that record was Jim Cripps, who said he started bowling backward because of a dare.

What?! HOW does anyone let go of a ball backwards without seeing the pins and not have a gutter ball or into another lane every time? This guy is absurdedly good.

I can't even get that many pins bowling forward! The guy is good and obviously too much time on his hands. Way to go!

My friends with Wii bowling got really mad at me when I bowled a strike from the bathroom. Evidently, I wasn't taking the game seriously enough.

I'd have gotten away with it, too, except that I timed the flush with the throw.
