L'Wren scott leaves entire estate to Mick Jagger

NEW YORK (AP) -- L'Wren Scott has left her entire estate to longtime boyfriend and Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger.

The Daily News says papers filed in Manhattan's Surrogate's Court on Wednesday estimated the value of the 49-year-old designer's personal estate at $9 million.

The filing said Scott's main asset was her Manhattan condo worth approximately $8 million. Other items included her jewelry, clothing, household furnishings and personal automobiles.

A small and private funeral service was held for Scott in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

Scott committed suicide on March 17 in New York.

Jagger is worth between $200 and $300 million if not more...it is not the monetary thought in this action by her. Just makes you think about what reason a person has to take their own life...sad.

It 's the thought that counts, one last gesture of love. Everyone knows he doesn't really need the money.

Sometimes I just shake my head and go on paying no attention to idiots who post stupid uncaring words just to hear themselves talk or see their words in print. And then I see these comments and have to have my say. When people commit suicide, rarely do those around them have a clue. You can call it what you will but no one is ever at fault , We had a good friend who came to dinner had pleasant conversation, seemed quite normal and happy. Two hours later the police came to our door and told us he had shot himself. No note no clue just bang, gone. No blame should be put on Mick, no comments about why she left him her fortune.......she did what she wanted to do. Just because two people are rich financially doesn't mean he didn't deserve her love or money. I'm quite sure he'd much prefer to have her back then anything she owned. People don't be so shallow as to think only poor people deserve love and the spoils of the rich. Try to be a little more understanding.

I am sorry about your friend. This is always a shock. I have heard that sometime a person seems happy
and peaceful, as he/she has already made his decision.

A real tragedy. She was so intelligent, warm, giving and extremely gifted in her profession. Her multi faceted beauty will be missed by many, Lisa

Wow!!! The the people who are making comments about looks, his money her debts etc. are really the dumbest of dumb. The man just lost the love of his life and in such a way he must be asking himself how he did not see any type of warning signs that she might have been suicidal. I feel so sorry for him; not all the money in the world can take away the pain that he if feeling right now. And for her having all she had yet taking her life its so sad.

I wonder what happens in a case like this .... where she had huge debts. I imagine Mick will do right by her creditors ... at least negotiate a settlement with them. He certainly doesn't need anything ... other than keepsakes.

I thought in the original report a few weeks ago stating she was like 6 million in debt, so does that all just go away?

I guess she didn't want to sell her home to pay her debts. Could that be it?
