Pizza shop in Texas charges $1,000 for a side of ranch

Pizza Shop in Texas Charges $1,000 for a Side of Ranch
People on Reddit aren't very happy about the prices at a pizza shop in Texas.

Cane Rosso, a pizza place in Dallas, wants to stop people from putting ranch on their pizza.

Get this -- they charge $1,000 for just regular ol' Hidden Valley.

When a picture of the price popped up on Reddit, people freaked out -- calling the owners of the restaurant arrogant, and even calling him a pizza Nazi!

In an interview with Eater.com, the owner of the restaurant,Jay Jerrier, says it's a joke and people need to calm down.

Despite all the backlash on Reddit, Jay says he's not gonna be taking down the price tag anytime soon.

He says, "For some reason, ranch dressing on hot melty cheese just seems weird to me."

My hat's off to Cane Rossi. If a French chef can attack a diner for putting salt on his food, so can Rossi show his disdain for ranch dressing on his creation.

Thing is their the customer and as the owner/operator you don't have to eat it,all you have to do is make it and sell it. Be thankful it isn't against his religous beliefs, then he could legaly discriminate.(yes it's a joke)

"you have to make it and sell it"? Is there a law stating this?. All he has to do is simply stop carrying it. This is no different than CVS deciding to stop selling cigarettes.

IF PEOPLE CAN TELL YOU TO NOT SMOLKE AN E-CIGARETTE THAT HAS NO SECONDARY SMOKE…IF PEOPLE CAN TELL YOU NOT TO DRINK SODA, OR *GASP* EAT FAST FOOD OR TRANS FATS….

THEN GOOD, LET PEOPLE TRY TO DICTATE YOUR PIZZA CONDIMENTS.

See how it works? Either live, and let live…or get used to telling each other what to do.
