Forget diamonds. Nothing says "romance" like Burger King. That's why Kanye West has purchased Kim Kardashian ten of them as a wedding gift, proving that his love for the reality star is no Whopper.

According to MSN Entertainment, West hopes that the ten franchises, which are located around Europe, will give Kardashian a point of entry into the controversial fast food industry, and demonstrate that the sometimes aloof-seeming rapper is perfectly capable of loving her tender (crisp).

"She owns all the jewels anyone could ever want, so he is taking the practical route by investing in businesses for her instead," an unnamed source told the Daily Star newspaper. "He knows the fast food industry is reliable and lucrative, plus BK is international, so he thinks it's the perfect fit for Kim."

West, whose KW Foods company operates several Fatburger restaurants in Chicago, already has a hand in foodservice, so it's not a total surprise that he's chosen this route to show his appreciation for his honey (BBQ chicken strips). Not to mention that the purchases, which span the UK to Italy, turn Kardashian into an overnight Burger Queen.

"As always," the source added, "Kanye is thinking outside the box when it comes to Kim." Unless, of course, that box contains a four-piece nuggets and tangy sauce.

The question remains of what it will be like to work at a Burger King owned by Kim Kardashian. Will the TV personality still wear Loubitons when she's inspecting the fry cookers? Will West stand behind the counter, berating employees for failing to be sufficiently "fly?" Will they cope with the recent spate of fast food minimum wage lawsuits by simply shrugging and throwing rubies at people?

While these questions are as yet unanswered, one thing is clear: where fast food is concerned, West's gift will surely turn Kardashian into an industry big fish (sandwich).
